The money app that tells you what it doesn't know
Sh'faaf is a personal finance app being built for the Gulf. Every account is checked against its own bank statement where one exists, and labelled Reconciled, Partial or Unverified. The app never implies completeness the data cannot prove, and it never moves money.
- Current accountReconciled
- SavingsPartial
- Credit cardUnverified
Current account matched to the March statement. The credit card has no statement yet, so it says so.
How it works
- Add an accountFrom bank alerts and statements.
- It is checkedAgainst that account's own statement, where there is one.
- It is labelledReconciled, Partial or Unverified.
- You plan with itBudgets, goals and reports that respect the label.

What it is for
Built to be checked
Honest coverage badges
Each account says how much of it has been checked against a statement. Reconciliation is in every tier and is never an upsell.
An assistant that works in the app
Ask it questions or tell it what to do. It uses the app's own functions, and a consent switch controls what leaves your device.
What you own and what you owe
Holdings and physical assets, and the tenancy you pay for, including UAE cheques, the RERA cap and Ejari.
Private by design
Statement passwords, raw PDFs and raw alert emails never leave your device.
Three tiers
Track, Plan and Wealth, sold on the web and never through an in-app purchase.
In development.
